Now Hiring: Summer Camp Instructors

Are you passionate about theatre and working with young performers? Nose Creek Players is looking for two enthusiastic Summer Camp Instructors to help lead our exciting theatre camp from July 21 – July 27, 2025.

Position: Summer Camp Instructor (2 Positions Available)

Dates: July 21 – July 27, 2024 10:00-2:00 p.m.
Location: Nose Creek Valley Museum
Commitment: Full-time during camp week

About the Roles:

We are hiring two instructors to lead age-specific classes:
Junior Class Instructor: Working with campers aged 8-12 years old
Teen Class Instructor: Working with campers aged 13-17 years old

As a Summer Camp Instructor, you will guide and inspire young actors through engaging drama activities, theatre games, and performance preparation. You will work closely with other instructors to create a fun, inclusive, and educational environment for campers.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead theatre-based activities, warm-ups, and workshops.
Assist in script development, rehearsals, and performance coaching.
Foster a positive and supportive environment for campers of all skill levels.
Ensure camper safety and engagement throughout the program.
Collaborate with fellow instructors to deliver a high-quality camp experience.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Experience in theatre, drama education, or performing arts.
Previous experience working with children or youth in an educational or camp setting.
Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
Ability to create a fun and supportive learning environment.
Must pass a Vulnerable Sector Check upon hiring.
